Griffins could sense presence of a treasure like precious metals and gems, and collect them in their nest. They also known as a symbol of wisdom, power, courage, strength, and loyalty. Popularity of this noble creature in ancient and medieval cultures can be explained by its ability to attract wealth and ferociously guard it. The Griffin's symbolism became especially popular in European heraldry of many noble houses. An image of Griffin used as a defense against evil, slander, poverty and sorcery.

Each statue is made by 3D printing process of UV-cured non-brittle expensive resin. The whole process of 3D-printing can take up to 16 hours. Then it's painted in black primer with a silver/gold metallic compound imitating the look of an antique silver/gold statue of the vintage gothic style. And finally coated with protective lacquer. For the Black option, the statue is finished in black primer without silver or gold metallic wax. 3D printed models may have high level of intricate details and complex geometry that's impossible to achieve in mass production processes.
